Mark A. Furcolo, Director

On Oct. 25, 2020, Governor Raimondo nominated Mark A. Furcolo as administrator of the R.I. Lottery. Furcolo had previously served as director of the Department of Revenue, a position to which he was appointed in October 2017.

A technology and finance industry veteran, Furcolo served as a senior vice president at Dealertrack Technologies Inc. from February 2011 through December 2016. He was the president and CEO of triVIN, Inc. from April 2008 to February 2011. He served as the chief operating officer of General Systems Solutions Inc. (GSS), a subsidiary of triVIN from March 2007 to February 2011. He was a vice president and CFO at triVIN from June 1998 to March 2007. Furcolo served as a vice president of finance at GE Capital, within the GSS business unit, from November 1995 to March 1998. He joined GSS in June 1992 as its controller and finance manager. Before joining GSS, Furcolo served as a commercial loan officer at Fleet Bank.

Furcolo holds both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in business administration from the University of Rhode Island.
